Local History Groups

Rodbourne Community History Group : Dedicated to recording the history and memories of the community of Rodbourne. 

Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month (except December) from 7pm to 9pm at the Even Swindon Community Centre, Jennings Street, Swindon SN2 2BG.



Local Studies at Swindon Central Library

The Local Studies collection for the Borough of Swindon can be found on the second floor of Central Library. The staff will be happy to support you with any local history or family history enquiries.

Their comprehensive collection includes historical printed material, extensive genealogical records, local parish registers, complete runs of local newspapers, and more.
