* The initial charge of £1.25 is not refundable. Once the item has been ordered cancellation is not possible and the customer will still be liable for the charges (£6.50 or £22.80 if item is from the British Library)

  • If stock is lost and paid for but is subsequently found and returned for refund, a charge of £3 will be deducted from each refund transaction to cover administration costs.
  • For stock items valued at £3 or less, no refund will be given.
  • No charge is made for damage to picture/board books whilst on loan to a child under the age of 5.
